I couldn’t decide if this belonged in the ‘Elegant Earrings’ section or if it would be in the “Fun and Unusual’ section.  I chose the latter because of the large size of the beads and the fact that they are acrylic and not glass.  These slightly translucent, but ironically frosted, cantaloupe melon colored balls are vintage from the 1960’s.  The ribbed spheres are made of Lucite and are almost an inch across in diameter.  They are capped with antique toned brass bead caps that look little crowns and are finished with brand new gold-toned (nickel free) lever back ear wires.  These medium weight earrings have a total length of approximately 2 and 1/4 inches.   Please see mannequin picture for reference.
