Smoky Lavender Fleur De Lis Earrings
The Fleur De Lis is a symbol that is most commonly associated with the French crown. ‘Fleur’ means flower and ‘Lis’ means lily in French. These beautiful earrings feature vintage Fleur De Lis raw brass stampings that have a naturally aged patina. These hollow back Fleur de Lis components measure approximately 24 mm by 28 mm. Dangling from the brass component is a vintage luminicent frosted matte purple tear drop caboshon from the 1950’s. The color of this 13 mm by 18 mm glass caboshon can be best described as a smoky lavender. The back of the caboshon has a gold foil, which is visible in the brass prong set setting. Please see last photo. The earwires are gold toned and nickel free, and the total length of the earrings is approximately 2 and 1/8 inches in length.
