Thank you for visiting my website!
Although I loved working as a middle school teacher for over twenty years, I decided to take a leap of faith and retire early to pursue my true passion of designing jewelry and other mixed media creations. I absolutely love creating custom jewelry pieces for clients, especially when the customer can be part of the initial design process. I specialize in working with miniscule seed beads and making elaborate bead embroidery projects. I have been working with tiny glass beads for over a decade now and I have had the honor of attending workshops from a few of the best beaders in the world, who have inspired me from the start, specifically Marcia DeCosta and Cynthia Rutledge.
I also enjoy constructing jewelry components out of Polymer clay and precious metal clay, and then hand painting and enameling the finished products. If you want a picture of a loved one to be part of a jewelry project, I have a few ways to superimpose that photograph into the requested jewelry piece. I can also make a variety of different chainmaille weaves if you desire a handmade chain.
I am very drawn to creating vintage style jewelry that has an old-world appeal. I like mixing vintage and antique components with modern materials and creating a unique piece that looks expensive, but is affordable. I also enjoy making fun and whimsical jewelry created from clay, plastic, and rubber.
Custom wreaths are also available upon request. Want a wreath that features your favorite person? Is someone retiring from your workplace and you want me to make a personalized theme wreath just for that special retiree? I can accommodate that, or any other ideas that you may have.
Please send me a message below if you want to place a custom order. Please include your phone number and I will call you to discuss the details. If you are a local resident to West Hartford, you can make an appointment to visit my studio and we can plan your project in person.
Also, please continue to check back to this website weekly, as I will be continuously adding new products. Thanks so much for visiting! 🙂
