If the sun was forced to wear an Elizabethan collar, this would be the result.   Elizabethan collars were called ruffs and first became popular in 1560.  The ruffs worn by aristocrats were created with over five meters of lace and held together with hundreds of pins.  You can get the same Tudor look without all the effort simply by wearing these unique earrings.   The frosted oval caboshon is approximately a 1/2 inch wide and almost 3/4 of an inch long.  These vintage 1950 caboshons are housing sparkly yellowish-gold citrine colored oval Swarovski crystals.    The caboshons are set in a raw brass prong settings. The earrings have raw brass lever back ear wires with petite bows on the front.  The total length of the earrings is approximately 1 and 1/2 inches.
