Nikola Tesla Earrings

You are here:

In 1856, a brilliant engineer, inventor,  humanitarian, physicist, and pigeon lover was born at midnight during a lightning storm!  Nikola Tesla was a pioneer in AC , Xray technology,  radar technology, electromagnetic theory, and so much more.        It is rumored that he left behind the key to free energy in his apartment in New York City when he passed away in 1943.   These earrings feature a dapper Nikola in 1890 at age 34.  The Tesla bust is approximately one inch long and the silver toned brass lightning bolts  are about 1 and 1/4 inches long, giving the earrings a total length of 3 and 1/2 inches.    The earrings are finished with small glass Czech beads and silver plated (nickel-free) hardware and ear wires.   The backs of the earrings are an unfinished white plastic material.   (PS.   I wouldn’t dare use pearls in this piece, as I recently found out that he despised them and would refuse to speak to women who were wearing them. )
