The Chaperoned Victorian Couple Bubble Earrings
In Victorian times, it was considered scandalous if unmarried young men and women were visiting without a chaperone or family member present. So… let’s keep this couple out of the social gossip circle and keep them separated, one on each ear. I find putting the lady in the right ear is the better choice because she will be framing your face and also facing her man! There are 21 rhinestones encrusting each oval bronze-toned picture frame. Hanging from each oval bubble is a long, glass, antique-looking tear drop bead. The earrings are finished with brass, surgical steel, stud-post earrings featuring a rectangular clear crystal in front. Clear plastic discs are attached to the earring backing to provide additional support. The earrings are a little over 2 and 1/2 inches in length.
